All Things Me

Who is Stephinie Johnson. She is someone who cannot be simply defined into a genre or group. She is an author, poet, artist, visionary, coach, influencer, motivational speaker, and more...

Stephinie Johnson's life started out a little different from most. She was only two weeks old when she was placed in foster care with a loving mother who nurtured all sides of her and encouraged her creative avenues. Stephinie always knew that her biological mother was out there, but accepted that she was where she was for a reason. She used her creative skills in many formats from an early age.

When playing with her dolls, she began to envision a new line of clothing and began to take socks and old clothes to make dressing for her dolls. Although she was too young to handle a needle and thread, she used whatever she could find to make the clothes work. Having an older cousin who was a fashion designer was her motivation.

She taught herself to read by the age of six and was reading at a fourth-grade level. She began to realize that she could tell stories herself. Her foster mother gave her the tools to write her own stories. She was awarded third place in a nationwide competition for art and writing at eight. She continued to use art and storytelling to create books of her own, which were never published.

At the age of 13, she began writing her first novel but put it to the side to develop her love of poetry and artwork. She won competitions for her art and had various poems published before she was 15. In high school, she would design her own clothes and prom dresses for her peers. She knew she had talents that were worth money so she also sold her poetry and art, mostly to boys wanting to impress their girlfriends.

She was offered various scholarships for college but chose to take a year off and then fell in love for a brief period which left her to be a divorced mother of an awesome little boy. She put her college plans on hold. She later joined the Army, deployed overseas, and returned home leaving the only home she knew behind. During her time in the Army, she went to college, got multiple degrees, and married the love of her life.

After turning 30 she wanted to prove to herself that she could fulfill one of her dreams, so she wrote and published her first book of poetry in two weeks, then published a variety of books in different genres through self-publishing. She helped others to write and publish books and used her talents in both psychology and art to create a platform of coaching to help others to use art to transform their grief, anxiety, and depression into a tangible piece of art allowing them to see the beauty in life and regain a purposeful future.
